I've seen some in the disability community call for alternatives to #lame in everyday use. The Oxford English Dictionary tells us that lame means “disabled or impaired in any way; paralyzed; unable to move" so its modern use as a synonym for "uncool" or "undesirable" is seen by some as #ableist language. #QuotsyFeb19
