So my Swap didn‘t happen but I still want to participate today! This is what I sent my match. It was fun shopping and picking out the goodies and sometimes things just don‘t work out how you think they will. I read The Sweet Potato Queens‘ Book of Love a couple years ago and laughed all the way through. It is a fast, funny read that will put a spring in your step. Bonus points: it would also work well as a beach read!

Here‘s a book I recommend reading or rereading in spring, such an endearing read. There‘s no spring where I am, but here‘s a pic of the season near the Osaka Castle in Japan, where I visited a few years ago. 🌸🌼🌷

Trees starting to bloom here at home. My recommendation is The House on Tradd Street by Karen White. It‘s the first in a series. It has wonderful characters, an old Southern house for the setting and even some paranormal aspects. I just adore this series. #WhiskeyRocks.
