I‘ve always loved Harry‘s last Birthday in the series. It‘s a bubble of love and calm in the eye of a storm. Dumbledore‘s will always confused me a little though. I can‘t help but think a good luck card or something wouldn‘t have gone a miss, but I suppose he was trying to flummox the Ministry with his opaque gifts.

I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed that Dumbledore hadn't left Harry more, given that he cared for him so much. Thinking about it now, I think Dumbledore gave Harry far more immaterial gifts, words of wisdom and support.

Harry finally got to have a party and be surrounded by all of his friends for his birthday, but terrible tidings of dementor attacks and missing shopkeepers spoiled the festivities. He just can‘t catch a break!

Well, I think the group of friends is larger than just the three of them, larger than the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army, but it's those three that stick together like tar and feathers. 😁

“You don't want to bottle up your anger like that, Harry, let it all out,‘ said Fred ... ‘There might be a couple of people fifty miles away who didn't hear you.‘”

We, again, don‘t see Harry‘s birthday in Order of the Phoenix, but we do get a glimpse of his dreary summer which ends in a rather spectacular fashion with dementors, followed by more radio silence from his friends. No wonder he freaks out!
