This was a beautiful book! I loved all the back and forth between the late 1920‘s and 1930‘s to the mid 1970‘s. It makes me want to go to NYC and visit Grand Central! I loved how this story was based on events that happened though many of the details had been fictional it was still just amazing. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars in my book!!

Fascinating historical novel, alternating between the story of Clara in the 1920s and Virginia in the 1970s, connected by their experiences at Grand Central Terminal and a single piece of art. The parallels in the women's stories illuminate the situations of women in those eras and the difficulty they face in making their way in a world dominated by men. Each woman finds strength to carve her path and to find strength from her own determination.
