WhatDeeReads @WordWaller This is my first of hers. It won the National Book Award several years ago. You can start with this one. I've seen nothing but praise for all of her books. This is the one I'm reading next

I was supposed to read it for book Club earlier this year - but the library didn't have a copy available ☹️ but it was gifted to me through secret santa so now I can read it at my leisure! My book club loved it (I don't know particulars cause I asked not to be spoiled) 8y

Bookgirl @WordWaller I suggest Love Medicine. I've read others by her too but I highly recommend Love as it is representative of the Native American oral storytelling tradition, so not told in traditional novel form. It's original and brilliant. 8y
