pickThis book y‘all. It ripped my soul to shreds, stomped it in a million pieces, and then put it all back together. I‘ve known for awhile that the Murphy-Heidi-Axel thing was going to blow up, and while I was always #TeamMurphy, I didn‘t totally hate Axel. Lake did a good job of making the characters and their choices realistic and easy to relate to. I thought Tattered was going to be my favorite because, Wrath, but this was even better. 👇
CocoReads I am, however, really looking forward to the next book because we go back to Wrath and Trinity. But seriously, I ugly cried through the first half of this one, put it aside and got a better grip on myself today and finished it. 6y

CocoReads @CoverToCoverGirl I think you‘ll like her. The Lost Kings are a romanticized MC but not sappy-there‘s still plenty of danger. I‘ve read her two stand-alones as well (Murphy shows up in both even though they aren‘t MC focused) and she‘s really good. I think Slow Burn (the first in the series) is either free or .99 on kindle right now 6y
