I'm joining #middlemarchmadness with Rincey. Now, I have read Middlemarch before and I didn't find it long, or difficult or time consuming. And I also don't have a good answer for those people who might find it daunting. I mean, if you've read Song of Ice and Fire or HP7 this isn't any longer. (Less murdery and/or sexy though, maybe that's it)
