A terrible picture, but it's Celeste Ng and Tayari Jones! AAAAAAAAND as I was leaving for the day, I realized I was walking right behind Celeste Ng, so I did something very unlike me. I said "Oh my gosh I'm walking behind Celeste Ng!" and she turned around and laughed and shook my hand. I usually like to give celebrities privacy, but I imagine that it must be a bit thrilling for an author to be recognized on the street. #southernfestivalofbooks

Today, I had the immense pleasure of seeing Rick Bragg then later, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor (no photos permitted), and meeting them both, respectively.
