Not quite what it says on the tin as it is very focussed on how Kierkegaard disagreed with Hegel. I found it very heavy going till I read the relevant chapter of “Sophie's World“ to orientate me.

#PoetryMatters Day 1: #Torment - not exactly a poem but alludes to poets, so tangentially related. 🤣😅😂
If you like the show You, then you need to read this book. It was so well written and intriguing. It was interesting to hear the inner thoughts of a man scheming to seduce a young woman. “There under the sea we shall meet again, for only in the deeps of the sea shall we really belong together.”
Great concept, but maybe Kierkegaard‘s philosophy and concepts are so complex that they can‘t be distilled into a primer filled with cartoons? Or maybe the author/illustrator were using Kierkegaard‘s concept of indirect communication and I missed the whole point?! Either way, I know more now than I did before - but not as much as I would have hoped. #nonfiction2019 @Riveted_Reader_Melissa #maymadness #graphicnovels @Clwojick @RadicalReader

My handle came from my Instagram account. I often post a pic of my current book at bedtime with the hashtag bookandbedandtea so when I was signing up here and trying to think of a handle that seemed the way to go.
Thanks for the fun topic @Chelleo
I‘ll play along even though my #LitsyHandle is self-explanatory! This is what I came up with when I joined LibraryThing about ten years ago. I also use it for other social media even though I‘ve only ever stuck with LibraryThing and Litsy!
My dad picked out my name. I‘ve never understood why my name is relatively rare. Valerie means “strong” and I try to remember that 💪.
