#ThreeForMeGiveaway Congrats to @Tiffy_Reads for reaching 3000 followers 🎉🎉🎉It‘s beginning to look a lot lot Hanukkah in my part of the 🌎 🕎🍩I spotted menorahs & doughnuts all along the streets today😁 It‘s nice to feel the holiday spirit #SharedHolidays #SeasonsGreetings

Tamra 👏🏾🤗 Why is there not a nice Menorah image for me to post like there is an Xmas tree? That‘s not inclusive! Shame on Apple. (Unless I‘m blind and that is entirely possible with my sight!) 6y
BibliophileMomma Oh my those donuts. 😍😍 6y
Cinfhen Thanks @Tamra there is a little menorah emoji 🕎not as cute as santa 🎅🏻 and the Christmas 🎄 but it‘s something...maybe next year a potato latke or a dreidel?!? 6y

alisiakae 🕎💙💙💙🕎 Those 🍩!! We have a blow up menorah for our front yard this year, which I am quite excited about. @tamra there is 🕎, but it would be lovely to have a slightly nicer menorah emoji. 6y
Tamra @Cinfhen Yes, let‘s hope so! 6y
Tamra @4thhouseontheleft yes, need something more festive! (edited) 6y
AmyG Ooo those donuts! I have to find my menorah. I gave my grandmother's to my daughter. I hope I didn't already pack mine. 😬 6y
Cinfhen You‘ll need to post a pic @4thhouseontheleft ❣️❣️❣️ there are probably 4dozen different varieties of doughnuts during Hanukkah season but honestly...they all taste the same @Tiffy_Reads @4thhouseontheleft @Tamra @AmyG 😂😊🙄 (edited) 6y
alisiakae @Cinfhen I prefer latkes myself. 🥔 Especially now that I *try* to stay gluten free! We like making a few different varieties. 6y
ElishaLovesBooks Sufganiyot have come a long way from the basic jelly donuts 🍩 they had when I was there! They look so yummy! 6y
Kalalalatja Okay, I'm not that well versed in Jewish traditions, but are you telling me donuts are a part of Hanukkah? 😱😱😱 6y
Cinfhen Haha @Kalalalatja sort of...one of the Hanukkah miracles is that the Temple oil which was used to light the Holy Menorah was only enough to last a day but it burned bright for 8 days, so to “remind” us of the miracle of the oil, Jews eat foods fried in oil during the 8 days...another example are the “potato latkes” {{crazzy customs}} 6y
Cinfhen OMG @ElishaLovesBooks you should see the exotic flavor doughnuts that appear...Mango filled, pistachio halva, strawberry cheesecake, lotus biscuits & caramel.....it‘s insane!!!! No more basic jelly! (edited) 6y
ElishaLovesBooks @Cinfhen lotus biscuits!!!! That sounds amazing!! 6y
Cinfhen Cookies and cream and chocolate banana are pretty darn yummy too @ElishaLovesBooks 😋 6y
ElishaLovesBooks @Cinfhen the most exciting flavors we have in Chicago are caramel and chocolate! #jealous 6y
Cinfhen I would send you a batch but don‘t think they‘d hold up @ElishaLovesBooks 6y
Kalalalatja Aaaah, okay! Now, that's a tradition I could get behind ❤️❤️❤️ fried food ❤️❤️❤️ 6y
