Lanny: A Novel | Max Porter

With a narrative that moves between different characters‘ thoughts, including a mythical figure of the local folklore, it‘s surprisingly not confusing. This strange and poetic book tells more than just an eccentric boy as the voices of the villagers after the incident reveal prejudices, suspicions, bitterness. A magical and moving read, with a bit of humour, sadness and darkness. Didn‘t like the dreamlike theatre part but overall a Pick.

The Handmaid's Tale (Graphic Novel): A Novel | Margaret Atwood

This was wonderful. I just love The Handmaid‘s Tale so much and will take all the (Mother Margaret-approved) versions of it I can get. This one features stunning artwork and thought-provoking visual interpretations. It did feel a little white, especially after the Hulu adaptation, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. Big thanks again to @Jilly6183 for including this in my #summersantagoespostal box. ❤️ #testamentsprep

If you like high fantasy with complicated magic world, well, this is NOT for you. This is a YA simple world and simple story where Kat will discover her enchantment at age 16. She is the one to save her kind. To be honest, this is an ok to so-so or pan story, but I enjoyed it and I already ordered the other 2 books in this trilogy😳Thank you to @hermyknee for choosing it from by tbr.
