So far, enjoying this YA book. It's my first book by Nicola Yoon, and she nails the main characters' dialog. #RITeenBookNominees

A funny, different book with authentic, teenage boy dialog that makes this YA book stand out. #RITeenBookNominees
A #RITeenBookNominees about Riley, a gender fluid teen who switches from private school to public school to escape daily harassment. It's a good book, and you care about Riley and root for Riley to overcome the battles he/she faces.
Great teen chicklit, beach read. A 17 year old American loses her mother to cancer and travels to Italy to meet the father she never knew about. There is love and a bit of a mystery. Is it cheesy? Yes, but just go along for the ride and enjoy! #RITeenBookNominees
Another good one for #RITeenBookNominees An American of Pakistani heritage is tricked into going to Pakistan and forced into an arranged marriage by her parents.
A story about a 15 year old boy's first schizophrenic episode where the story alternates between the real world and the bizarre fantasy world set on an old sailing ship. At times a bit long, but a good book. #RITeenBookNominees
Dill is the son of a Tennessean, snake-handling preacher who is incarcerated for possessing child pornography. High school is not exactly fun for Dill, but his music and two best friends, misfits Lydia and Travis, help him survive and maybe see a life after High School. Great story with a twist that threw me! So far my favorite for #RITeenBookNominees
Another #RITeenBookNominees. A HS cheerleader is drugged and raped at a summer cheerleading camp. The story is about how the main character responds to this trauma with the support of her best friend. Good book about a tough subject.
Working my way through the 2018 RI Teen Book Award nominees and just started this audiobook. Thank goodness for audiobooks, the library, and Overdrive! #RITeenBookNominees
