“I throw out my back every other week. And it‘s not from lifting a sofa. It‘s from, like, sneezing.” - Millie
With chronic pain and degenerative discs in my low back, this is so relatable lol 😂

Whatcha readin' Mama?
Yeah, my tree is still up. 🤦♀️
Reading while waiting to pick up my youngest from his summer job. It‘s raining while the sun is out, and the first line of this chapter says it‘s rainy & warm. ☔️#momlife #summerstorm
Taking a break from momming to enjoy some spicy Ramen and my book! Haha jk! I'm pretty sure my kids are about to ask me for a snack for the millionth time today 🤣🤣🤣🤣 @BooksNBowls I know you feel me lmao.
Holy cats this book was horrifying. You can‘t tell from the book cover or the fact that it‘s a children‘s book that it‘s basically about the mistreatment and murder of a dog. I was horrified reading it aloud tonight.
Henry Heckelbeck, volume 9
Currently reading this to my boy and girl before they go to bed. We‘re about halfway through the book and (like main characters) are wondering about a possible sighting of…an alien at the space center 😆 To be continued tomorrow evening 👍

Single-mom Amelia returns to Houston and is determined to keep her promise of providing normalcy in their new home by displaying their hand-painted garden gnome by their front door. Unfortunately this puts her at odds with the dreaded HOA-& so this chaste romance of enemies to more unfolds with plenty of scenes of #MomLife. I‘m not really the target audience here & found the chapter‘s closing comments a bit clunky. But it‘s a sweet story overall.
Managed to finish during kiddo‘s violin and then swim lessons today (#momlife). This was fascinating, enlightening, terrifying, brutally honest, and so much more. Another one I need to add to my collection and track down more of the author‘s work. Highly recommend this to understand how the Trump presidency happened and what‘s going on in Ukraine (this was published in 2018 but deals with the 2014 invasion and makes current events clearer.
