pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A young couple seeking refuge from their war-ravaged city escapes through a portal into the unknown. This is an odd idea, but Hamid‘s prose marries the real and surreal pieces beautifully. Does this provide all of the details of a true refugee/migrant story? No, but it doesn‘t have to. That‘s the beauty of fiction even when much of it feels real-world relevant. Relax your brain for a moment and let the story take you where it pleases.
