prompt: “eye.“ Nice to have a bingo square for my first finished book of the month. #ISpyBingo #LitsySummerCamp
This was a rough read at times, but though the humor is often dark, there's an underlying positivity and humanity to it I appreciated.

This article by @Liberty of course reminded me of #LitsySummerCamp and while the tagged book is mystery not horror, I think the murder of four camp counselors could be a little terrifying.

Silly me I forgot to post my wrap up for #LitsySummerCamp #LitsySummerCampReadathon. I read all of Just Folking Around and Claimed (really enjoyed both) I started Dark Crime and The Dating Dare. I exceeded my goal of 700 pages and read for more than 18 hours. It was a great week at camp I hope we get to do it again next year.
Thank you to @ImperfectCJ for hosting.

Not much read this past week for #LitsySummerCamp @ImperfectCJ - actually on a trip and spent so much time outdoors (doing camp like activities) that reading time was limited 😊 -
Joining #AwesomeAugust @Andrew65 - goals are to finish My Calamity Jane and Mysterious Affair at Styles -

My goal was to have a Bingo. Not quite, but still a great week.
My favorite campfire story is Bloody Fingers 😁😁.
#litsysummercamp #Day7 Read & finished The Silence of the Girls and ready to start the tagged book. I‘ve never been to camp so I don‘t have a favorite campfire song & I don‘t like spooky stories. But I love music by the fire. Thank you @ImperfectCJ for hosting a week at camp!
That's a wrap at Camp Happy Glampers! Less reading than planned, but I listened to I Am Malala, swapped Exit West for smut on audio & halfway finished that, plus 7 chapters of Silence For the Dead.
The week I spent at sleepaway camp when I was 13 had a dirty version of If I Had A Hammer that was damn fun, if only I could remember it.

I had an action packed final two days at #LitsySummerCamp so I got behind.
I'm not big on eating outdoors but I always make an exception for s'mores! I like a large marshmallow as they flatten and get super gooey... they're the star of my show. I've actually made them in the microwave in a jam and it's fun to watch them plump up really big. The little things amuse me. I can get burgers & hot dogs anywhere, but not s'mores.
@ImperfectCJ
Still reading Leaving Coy‘s Hill and Silence for the Dead as buddy reads. Also reading Vanessa Yu‘s Magical Paris Tea Shop. Enjoying all of them.
My dad would make up ghost stories and there were certain ones that we would always want him to repeat to us as kids. I also liked the tagged book about brave girls and their adventures.

I only finished two books this week, the tagged & The Horologicon, but I did stay on track with my four chapter-a-day books (Culture Smart: Pakistan, Persuasion, Emily of New Moon, & Half-Blood Prince). I did not achieve my page goal for #LitsySummerCamp but still have a great time seeing everyone's posts & participating when I could. Thanks so much for hosting @ImperfectCJ - this was SUCH a fun idea!!!
