DebBates101 @Ajessgirl Tell the Ghostly Tales book was too cute to pass up, but i should have bought one for me lol! The pastries are from an amazing bakery in St Louis. The Tea is from a tea room founded by an English expats. They host traditional high tea and run a standard cafe with the most delicious English goodies. The Naughty Vicar Tea is my favorite! If you ever come to STL I will take you to high tea 😊🥐☕️🥧 @Laughterhp 6y

The Masterpiece: A Novel | Fiona Davis

I love Fiona Davis and The Masterpiece is her best work. The storylines are richly woven around each other while Grand Central reflects the storylines, the characters, and the ways our lives can effect change in our hearts and our soul. I found the stories to be as lovely as the artwork described within. @Ajessgirl @Laughterhp I hope you guys like the book and that you find the symbolism as interesting and as beautiful as I did. #LTLPBC

Finished this book today. My choice for our #LTLPBC ! I‘m also using it for a couple prompts.

This book was a lot different than I thought it was going to be. A lot darker than I thought. It was a little slow for me and some parts were a little confusing. I‘m not going to say anything else and let @DebBates101 @Ajessgirl form their own opinions!

This book was between a pick and a so-so for me. The concept was interesting and unique to me. Ive never read a book similar that I could think of.

Ren is lost and wandering aimlessly in his life not knowing what to do. Then his sister dies and he decides to follow in her footsteps to understand her life. A lot of things happens and he meets a lot of people.

It was a fast read and a good story that had a lot going on.

DebBates101 I‘m glad u didn‘t dislike it even if it wasnt a complete 👍 I thought the premise sounded a little too out there, but I did feel like the book redeemed that part. Also, in Asian culture that would not be as strange as it seems to westerners. In an interesting note, about 3 weeks after I read it my nephew and his wife went to Japan. When I asked him where they went he said they spent all of their time in 2 cities: Osaka and Kyoto! 6y
