pickWhat vivid imagery! This book was way more terrifying than I thought it would be. A very well thought out book about the real truth about witches. This was my #bookspin pick, part of my #hocuspocusreadathon and is also my #bannedbook for #booked2020. Definitely qualifies for #screamathon20202. 75 points for #teamharkness and #scarathlon. I‘m also at 3/3 books and 16.5/24 hours for #outstandingoctober.
pickA wonderfully told tale about a town that sacrifices a baby each year to a mean witch who is actually a very kind witch. She accidentally gives moonlight to one child and causes her to become a powerful witch. I love a story with multiple story lines that all weave together at the end. This was the team pick for the #hocuspocusreadathon on Twitter. 165 points for #teamharkness for #scarathlon. Also part of my #screamathon and #bookspin.
