Surprisingly tough prompt, but reminded me I should read this some time😂
Is there a classics challenge/event on Litsy?🧐🤔

Wilhelm Meister is going slowly, I can't seem to get into it. SaGN is rather wordy and dense in a different way, but fun. And the short stories are a nice late night read.
Well, that was rather depressing. I also think Goethe is a bit too philosophical for me to truly enjoy. I appreciated this story of love gone wrong, but I can‘t say I enjoyed it. Additionally, the narrator read clearly but also had the perfect voice to put me to sleep, so I headed out for a walk to finish it.

Goethe wrote this tragedy of extreme infatuation in 1774 to deal with his own experience of unrequited love.

When I was younger I refused to DNF any book. As I got older I realized that life is ti short to read books I don't enjoy. Since then I do DNF books, but I always give them second chances. Or third. Sometimes I even end up thinking 'Now I'm too far into the book to DNF it' 😅
This just happened with a book by Sarah J. Maas tbh 😅🙈
