Anytime I watch Outlander on the TV, I always like to have the Companion with me. So when Jenny and Ian Murray talk about their kids I atleast have a Family Tree to reference to. Who else is invested in the Outlander Series?? What do you enjoy more? The books or the TV series? I'm halfway through season 3 and just starting Book 4 of the series. #outlander #theoutlandishcompanion

Loving my #Murakami shelfie! Diana #Gabaldon is the shelf underneath it. I don‘t know why it makes me so happy to look at it, but it does.

Emilymdxn He‘s written so many books! I really want to read all of them one day but I have a long way to go 6y
suvata @Emilymdxn just go for it. Try reading one book a month. Many of them are pretty long but, some of them are very short and quick reads. 6y
bookandcat Love the shelfie! Apparently those newer Murakami pb covers connect into a bigger picture that are supposed to evoke his universe (if you lay them out side by side)! 6y

suvata @bookandcat Wow! Thanks for that information. I had no idea. I‘m going to go check it out now. (edited) 6y
StephanieGeiser I love that little cat head statue!! 6y
suvata @StephanieGeiser It seemed kind of “Murakami-ish” to me. 😆 6y

Lord John tries to quietly investigate the death of a fellow soldier who may have been involved in treason. He‘s also trying to prevent his cousin from entering a disastrous marriage, and grieving the loss of his lover, Horace. Good characters, and slow but steady pacing.

wanderinglynn 😖🤬 When there are so many things you can use as a bookmark, why dog ear?! 7y
Tianarose Right?!? I use my phone, a tissue, a receipt... or even just remembered the page number if I literally had nothing else. 7y

I enjoyed this audiobook. Lots of background info on Outlander, how the author got started, interesting tidbits about the characters etc. Mostly read by the author herself. Except the summaries of books 1-3. That being said, I believe this is something that only a big fan of Outlander would like, otherwise it might not hold your interest quite as well. But for me, I appreciated the inside look into the books and how they came to be written ☺️

Tianarose Thanks for the tag! I am over halfway through this. 7y
HOTPock3tt @Tianarose no prob! ☺️ I got the idea to read this from one of your posts lol. I really wanted to see all the cute illustrations but my library didn‘t have the actual book, only the audiobook 😕 (edited) 7y
Tianarose @HOTPock3tt glad you enjoyed it. I am looking forward to finishing it. lol 7y
