I'm reading the new JD Robb and these quotes were in the beginning. Eve definitely fits the prompt of #independentwomen . I know I'm a few days behind on this one but she's going to #followtheclues to find the murderer.

#BackToReading #BooksAcrossOceans #day2 #FollowTheClues across this #SeaOfBooks to find my favourite genre.It's not hard to guess,at least a third of my shelves are filled with Crime authors.Add in Mystery & Thrillers and that would probably go up to half. I've been obsessed with the genre since I was very young and my Auntie Lilla gave me my first Dame Agatha Christie novel, Sparkling Cyanide. I still remember my first reading & being enthralled.
pickOverton's sophomore novel isn't quite as much fun as her debut (more telling than showing) but it's an engaging read that is sort of the opposite of #FollowTheClues but still keeps the pages turning! #BackToReading @JoeStalksBeck @Tiffy_Reads

Probably not what is meant by the #followtheclues prompt, but in many ways Atwood sets up her dystopian book like a mystery-you know something catastrophic has happened, but you don't know why or how big the impact really is. I expect I will continue to have absolutely no idea what's going on until the very end 🙄😁.
