pickFour years ago I decided to read "Little Women" and I wanted to read it with friends. I hosted what I thought would be a one time summer book club. We read half of the book, and met to discuss. Finished reading it, and met again. It was a marvelous way to enjoy summer vacation. I adored these #favoritebookishsiblings so much I read "Little Men" and "Jo's Boys" right after. Some of my #favoritebookishsiblings would have to be the girls from Little Women. I love how amazingly varied their interests and personalities, and yet when push comes to shove, they are always there for each other. Reminds me of my owns kids. #augustphotochallenge @TheSpinecrackersBookClub

Okay, the real P&P is one of my fave books ever, and I didn't think I'd enjoy this adaptation. Zombies freak me out, but I did actually love it! Lizzie and Jane are the best in both books, and extra points here because they are both badasses! #favoritebookishsiblings #augustofpages #augustphotochallenge
Essence of Marquez are love, passion, death and magic. All this (and more) can be found in the story that stretches over several generations Buendia family in which circulates very few names and a lot of brothers and sisters with complicated, passionate relationships. Just be patient with them...
