So this one is free on KU and decided to start this one. We sell a lot of it at work. I don't know if it's just me or what but this first volume didn't sell me on the series. I recently read a bunch of volumes from Fairy Tail. It‘s getting really far into the arc with Zeref. Here‘s my ratings for the volumes:

49) 4⭐️
50) 3⭐️

54) 4⭐️
55) 4⭐️

I think my current reading mood prevented any of them from getting 5 stars but I still really enjoyed my time reading them.

I was able to find this book in a bag of book donations to my #LittleFreeLibrary so it‘s time to delve into some more #manga. Let‘s see if I‘ll like the opening book to the Fairy Tail series...

SqueakyChu I think the artist must have had fun with the artwork. I like the character Happy (a cat) among all of the widespread chaos in this book. 4y

Schnoebs Yes!!!!!!! Excellent selection right there. I can‘t afford to purchase all of Fairy Tail so I‘m stuck waiting till my library opens back up to continue on since I prefer reading them physically 5y

Schnoebs I absolutely love it. One thing I do always warn people is that many get annoyed with how the female characters are drawn which is understandable but they have such strong character arcs that I feel it out surpasses any frustration I might feel towards it. 5y

erinachu I don't watch too much anime anymore but I did just watch Oresuki and it was great 5y

So when my work from home started a little over a week ago, I decided to read some volumes of Fairy Tail to make myself feel better about the whole situation. Well it sure as hell worked and paid off big time. I was able to get answers to questions I‘ve been asking since day 1!!! So happy and can‘t wait till the library opens back up to grab more.

Getting a really short arc in this series is so refreshing! But it also provided us with so much detail and anticipation for this next one. Our team is sent on a quest to help this village that was completely frozen. The interesting bit that was left out on their way there was that it‘s a village of giants. Excited to see what role Grey‘s magic is going to play over the next coming volumes!

Schnoebs Yes!!!!!! I‘m so excited for you. Just keep in mind that the female bodies are a bit over exaggerated and in some compromising positions but they are some of the best female characters ever! They are so independent and strong and it‘s amazing! And everyone is just sassy as hell lol (edited) 5y

3.75⭐️

Absolutely amazing conclusion to the Grand Magical Games arc. With finding out what can be done to end the battle, we see our heroes battle the dragons and save those around them. Lucy and Gray have some great moments in the beginning which I loved and tied things up loose ends well. Once the battles are over we see everyone celebrating the wizards and then Magnolia celebrating Fairy Tail.
