This one was so good and so sad but also happy. It‘s told through letters during WWI. It was great on audio. Each person was a different narrator to help keep track. It wasn‘t so Christmasy as I thought it was going to be but they still mentioned and experienced 3 christmases.

This is a low pick for me. See my previous post for my annoyances. I never could get past them falling in love at 12 yrs old. Overall, I liked the story and learning about Hanukkah. However, they‘re fighting was a bit annoying and so childish. And they were so stubborn. Also, I‘m not religious at all, so I had a bit trouble connecting.

Ahh! Naomi Novik! This is why I didn‘t stay up late to read the last chapter. I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger! I need the next book now!

This was so good. I really liked the first one but I think I liked this one a bit better. There was a bit more world building and a lot more action. I don‘t want to say anything to spoil. @Chrissyreadit be prepared!

I finished this one last night. It‘s a low pick. I wanted to like it more than I did but there wasn‘t a lot of relationship building on the page. I liked reading about Diwali and how she asked everyone why they thought they celebrated it. Overall, they got their HEA, but I would‘ve liked a little more substance.
