so-soBook 35 of 2024: This was pick 3 for #CBBC. I was not a fan of this book. Although, I enjoyed the plot and suspense leading up to the climax of “whodunit“ i was not a fan of the romance with a ghost nor the excess detail (in my opinion) of surroundings. Not a series I will continue by choice. 🌟🌟 🌟/5

pickCozy, gently humorous and quite thoughtful. What a cool way to showcase the important part nostalgia and food play in our lives. While at times hopeful, it never crosses into saccharine.
I truly enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape into a low stakes cosy fantasy world where life is good when you're making tea, baking and ⬇️ 1d
