It's about a teenage girl dealing with bi-polar and severe depression trying to navigate through life & school. Also, it touches on social class, racism and bullying. Mental illness is not talked about enough; Kids go through a lot as teenagers and young adults, that we as parents may not realize. I love the message this book provided.
