pickI was one of those people who spent the early 2000s rolling my eyes at Paris Hilton. I avoided all things Paris, as a matter of principle; though I did, in fact, watch House of Wax to "see Paris die", as the movie marketed it, (and then immediately stopped watching, because, what a terrible movie!) *More in comments*
Kris10H When I watched the documentary, "This is Paris", a couple of years ago, I started to see her from a very different perspective; not just spoiled little rich girl princess, but an actual human being. Paris, The Memoir, continues in that vein. In many ways, she does have a very blessed, privileged existence, but that hasn't made her exempt from hardship, and I definitely respect her for what she has made for and of herself. 2w
