cariashley @squirrelbrain the Celt is one I found randomly going through The Millions book preview list, that just looked good/interesting. I‘ve been following Grant Ginder on Twitter forever and he‘s so entertaining, but I‘ve never read any of his actual work! 2y

Megabooks I have Ancestor checked out from the library but am having trouble getting into it. Great list though! Very different from everyone else‘s! 2y

Cinfhen Some books I‘m totally not familiar with….need to investigate 🔬 I‘ve read an ARC for this one, which I did not enjoy - too long and the writing style just annoyed me

So difficult to choose, as many of the ‘best of‘ lists only include well-known authors. Instead, I looked on #netgalley, which wasn‘t good for my TBRor my %!

I already have the Straub on #netgalley and the Kukafka has been on my radar for a while, and is also on Barbara‘s list. The others were all influenced by #covercrush and there is a bit of a theme of dysfunctional families…. Must be my thing! 🤣

thebluestocking I love the idea of heading to Netgalley. These look great! I struggled with finding books that wouldn‘t be up for the rooster anyway, so I went with nonfiction. I loved that camp year. 2y

BarbaraBB This is great! I didn‘t know about a new Dan Chaon but am thrilled about it! I was thinking too of the Flamingo‘s. I read How High and didn‘t really enjoy it but I am a minority there. The other books I‘ll have to check out! (edited) 2y
