Today we finished reading this gem of a book. It was beautiful, whimsical & full of magic. I felt like a kid again, letting my imagination run & laughing with all the silliness & crazy adventures the characters experienced. I definitely recommend this book. Beware: this book could be considered as banned nowadays since certain terminology has changed its meaning through the decades. Also, some cultural aspects may clash.
Overall, a must read!
Here‘s another great tribute to Canada that Jace and I read together. We learned about the Mounties, maple syrup and other Canadian goodies. 4⭐️

I wanted Jace to join me again for #foodandlit this month so I chose this adorable series. We learned about different provinces and territories in Canada, as well as a lot of cool animals. 4⭐️🇨🇦🍁

“A Light in the Attic“ encourages children to view life from different perspectives and celebrate their unique quirks. It reminds readers to embrace humor and creativity as part of growing up.
This book is filled with humorous poems and illustrations, offering a mix of silly and reflective stories, where everyday situations are turned on their heads in creative ways.
A new kid in town means a new mystery for the Bob Whites! In addition to figuring out an ice carnival to raise donations, Trixie needs to find out just what is going on with tough city boy Dan.
A lower stakes mystery for the kids, but just as much heart. Love how the kids all take on an activist role for their friends, & seeing most of them jump to conclusions about Dan, then apologize when they‘re wrong is heartening.🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
