The Bone Way | Holly J Underhill

Starting this before I study today since I got a lovely box of books! I've read the Tensorate books before, and Sisters of the Vast Black, but I fancied a reread and to be able to keep them in my collection. And Eclair was just feeling friendly this morning when I was taking a picture; we don't mind that he stole the show, right? #BunniesofLitsy

shanaqui Eclair has got way more cuddly with me recently, though my wife was far and away his beloved favourite before. I think that's because I established a way for him to say "no" to being cuddled and petted: if he goes to either of his litter trays, I leave him alone. Even if we need to clip his nails or something, the "no-no box" is respected. So he's chilled out a lot. ? 3y

shanaqui (Hulk refused that rule: she gets INTO the litter box if she particularly wants attention. Sigh. Biscuit also appreciates being able to say "no", though, and does so frequently. ?) 3y

shanaqui @RaeLovesToRead He has an excellent snoot, but my favourite cute feature out of all his cute features is how very, very fluffy his toes are. Like bunnies all have quite a bit of foot fluff, but Eclair has about trouble the amount of any bunny we've known. He can barely even walk on slippy surfaces because he just... sliiiiiides. 3y

Good end to my weekly day off: a little pre-bed reading with Biscuit in my lap and my feet on my triceratops footstool. Bikkit keeps nosing at my screen and turning my pages early, though! #BunniesofLitsy

I put off starting this book because my other books had my attention more, but guiltily started this... And now I'm keen! I want to know more about the TLM ("very long wall" in French).

I‘ve been quiet this weekend, originally because it was moving day.

But, yesterday our celebratory weekend turned into a devastating one. Our sweet little Bun Bun got sick very quickly Saturday night, we think GI Stasis due to stress, and none of our local ER vets would see a bunny. By the time we found a vet that would see him when they opened at 8am Sun, it was too late. He passed away in my arms while we were saying our goodbyes at the vet.⬇️

alisiakae He came into our life unexpectedly 2 years ago, and left too quickly. We‘re all devastated, and already miss him so much. Mornings just aren‘t the same right now without a little bunny running circles around our feet. 😢 Not the housewarming we had planned. 😣#rabbitsoflitsy #bunniesoflitsy (edited) 4y
