@rsteve388 and I read this for our podcast‘s buddy read in June. Because of various personal issues, I am just now posting reviews of some of the books that I read. This book focuses on 2 women, Ead who is a mage (magician), a handmaiden to Queen, and a fighter; and Tane, a dragon rider and warrior. Both the characters are excellent and this book does an excellent job of being a standalone fantasy book. #bookwithadragon

LoveToReadLiveToRead I really enjoyed this book and saw the author talk about it at a book festival last year. She came across as really intelligent and passionate about the subject (feminist retelling of George and the Dragon). I think this was her 4th book@and she‘s not even 30 yet! 4y
