What's your worst #Book2Film adaptation?
Mine is Queen of the Damned. NOTHING like the book at all.
What's yours? And GO! 😃

sudi The Percy Jackson series 😣 7y
monkeygirlsmama 😂 Anything Stephen King that gets adapted to the big screen sucks hard, IMO. 7y
Sisasuku Song of Ice and Fire ➡️Game of Thrones @sudi I heard so much horrible things about the Percy Jackson adaption that I didn't watch it 🙈 7y

sudi @Sisasuku 😂Good Choice 7y
Conservio HP and Order of the Phoenix! Longest book and shortest movie! It‘s my favorite HP book as well. 7y
Bookwomble Peter Jackson's Hobbit films - awful! 7y
keys_on_fire Mrs Frisby and the Rays of NIMH. It‘s one of my fav books as a kid, but the movie is awful. Second runner up: The Black Cauldron 7y
hwestfall Ender's Game and The Giver were big disappointments in our house. 7y
Swe_Eva World War Z missed pretty much the entire point of the book. 😒 7y
Weaponxgirl The golden compass, they gutted the heart of the book because of Christian activists who had already boycotted the movie. So they made a movie for nobody in the end and I don't see why they bothered if your gonna get rid of the core message. 7y
lyradora @Weaponxgirl agree about The Golden Compass. Also, I never read Queen of the Damned, and the film was so awful that it made me never want to do so. 7y
BeansPage @lyradora the QOTD book was awesome! Amazing story telling 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 7y
lyradora @Syndelle777 it makes me wonder how many people have been turned off of good books by lousy adaptations. 7y
Sisasuku @lyradora @Syndelle777 I've gotten to a point where I simply refuse to watch a movie if I also want to read the book 🙈 7y
