pickThis was a #BlameaItOnLitsy read. I had never even heard of Otessa Moshfegh until seeing some recent posts by @Lindy.
I have been mourning Shirley Jackson after finishing the last of her stories, but I think I've found her contemporary! This will be an author to watch. I devoured this book in less than a day. It seems like hearing the story of a woman try to sleep her life away would be boring, but it was anything but.

Joy0201 I loved Homesick. I love her. She is such a breath of fresh air, although her stories aren‘t light or anything. I just love her style. Glad you enjoyed this. 6y
