Pickpick

A charming romance. After spending about 8 years trying to track down her kidnapped infant, Kelli has some misadventures. But, is it possible she could find romance on the way?

Extremely interesting take on how the author thinks God would answer life's questions.

The Secret Keeper | Susan Lewis

Pickpick

Olivia finds herself questioning her life and her husband following a mastectomy, with old flames on both sides turning up (including a seriously crazy ex!) the past and present collide and secrets are uncovered.

Nice easy listen ,Likeable characters and characters you love to hate. A tad predictable towards the end but after watching episodes of vikings in the evenings I was in desperate need of some happy romance 🥰

Stone Wall | Beverly Lewis
Pickpick

As per Beverly Lewis‘ signature style, kindness radiates from each of her well-written characters. In The Stone Wall, Anna Beachy seeks the positive in everything. She continuously turns to God in prayer, putting all her trust in His will. Anna isn‘t impulsive and discerns her actions carefully. She‘s a sweet character!

I recommend this book to anyone looking for a new story set in beautiful Lancaster County!

The Tinderbox | Beverly Lewis

Mehso-so

The short: Sylvia finds her dad‘s (a former “Englisher” turned Amish) tinderbox open, and curiosity gets the better of her. She opens it and finds a pocket watch engraved with the “from Rosalind”. Everything soon blows up and his secret is out: before becoming Amish, he was briefly married to Rosalind and subsequently divorced. He never told his wife or children, and in the Amish community this is a big deal. He confesses to the church and ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 Starts working on repairing the relationships with his wife and children, and his reputation. This story was slow and plodding like an Amish horse, but eventually I did get sucked in and wanted to find out what happened. Shockingly, things are not all wrapped up at the end, and there is a twist I didn‘t see coming. It was good enough that I want to read book 2, so I would give this 3.5⭐️ 5y

My #tbrjar picked this book for me to read and it‘s called...#octobersong by #beverlylewis. I‘m still reading #astormofswords as well but I just want to have something else to finish as well. This is good so far.

#BookMail

“With her Amish parents' twentieth anniversary approaching, eighteen-year-old Sylvia Miller stumbles across a surprise--the old brass tinderbox her clockmaker father keeps in his Lancaster County shop has been left unlocked. Against her better judgment, Sylvia opens the cherished heirloom, not realizing that what she is about to discover will splinter apart her happy life.”

TheReadingNurse I love Beverly Lewis! I have read a few of her books and I have loved all of them 6y

🖤 Day Three! 🖤

My favorite author is this wonderful woman. Beverly Lewis is one of the kindest most inspiring women I‘ve ever met in my life. I‘ve read almost every book she‘s written, and have fallen in love with Amish and Mennonite culture and customs because of her. 10/10 recommend her books!
(The other wonderful woman pictured on the right is my mom! Who let me miss school for this signing 2 years ago!)

This is the picture that I use as my #LitsyAvatar / #LitsyProfilePic. It's me and my oldest dude when he was a couple months old. A good friend took it and it's one of my favourites. Having a picture of me reading seemed to make sense for Litsy.

Loving everyone's posts, what a great way to get to know each other a little bit better! Great idea @Chelleo
