pickWith that, my #BastardsBeforeBelles reread is done. I actually enjoyed this more the second time. I think MacLean does a good job of redeeming the villain of the first two books. I know not everyone agrees, but I loved both the “real” story behind the night Ewan attacked Grace, Devil, & Whit and the fact that he left London, and worked to make himself a better person, to redeem himself, not relying on Grace to change or save him. Brilliant. 💖
pickBook Two of #BastardsBeforeBelles is done and, ugh…I love Hattie and Whit‘s story so much. Actually, it‘s Hattie I love. She has to be one of my favorite romance heroines. I‘d forgotten how much it made me cry, though. Thank God for guaranteed HEAs!
Despite taking a mental health day Friday, I didn‘t get a ton of reading done, but I did complete two books. I‘ll finish Brazen today for #BastardsBeforeBelles and start Daring. I am not enjoying Indonesia Etc, but I will power through the audio to check off the country for #readingasia2021. Bones of the Hills is my next audiobook, but I‘m not sure if I‘ll read Sword Stone Table next or A Road to Damascus. #bookreport #weeklyforecast

Someone on Twitter said they were having a Bastards Before Belles reread this month in anticipation of Sarah MacLean‘s new release, Bombshell, out 8/24.
