LoverOfLearning I love this app. No drama, such supportive members, noones trying to outshine each other. Were chill here and that's why this app is my relaxing safe space. :) 1mo

If you enjoy books about sports, check this out. It tells the postseason story of the 2006 Phoenix Suns. I really enjoyed it.

I Have a Superpower | Stephen Curry

2.5 ⭐This is written by a celebrity author, and it feels that way. If you‘re old enough, you may remember Saturday morning specials or those after school specials where they get a celebrity to come in and teach a very valuable lesson. They were almost always cheesy and overacted. If you put that into a book, it would be this book. First off this book is massively too long for a picture book.

LibrarianRyan It‘s told as if a sports news caster is giving a play-by-play and the speech bubbles are the action. The book is fine. The illustrations are lovely and very well done. But this is a book parents would skip a lot of in the reading. Plus, when you get to the super power it screams “This is a lesson you need to learn”. It‘s not subtle. It‘s right out there and it‘s cheesy. This book is fine but when Stephen Curry stops playing basketball, will it 2mo
LibrarianRyan on Library shelves very long? I doubt it.

I love this topic and want to work hard to work topics into my classroom such as sports that I may not normally seek out. In hopes to accommodate every student in my class. Ensuring there is something to interest everyone. I love the sports theme about an extremely prominent and successful. basketball player.

Dream Big motivates children to aim high and take the necessary steps toward realizing their aspirations, making it a powerful tool for encouraging self-confidence and ambition in young readers. This book also connects to an athlete that many children might know about.

Dream Big by Deloris Jordan is an uplifting children's book that encourages young readers to pursue their dreams with determination and confidence. Written by the mother of basketball legend Michael Jordan, the book reflects her belief in the power of dreaming big and working hard to achieve one‘s goals. This book also captures her experience raising Michael Jordan.
