Little Miss. Collywobbles has a guard frog that, on three separate occasions, swallows up the ogre, troll, and goblin when they try to come in to her home while she was there. In the end, Mrs. Collywobbles turns into a frog herself and ends up swallowing the guard frog.
Beware of the Frog by William Bee is a great fairytale story to read to students. It is about an old lady who lives by scary woods and some monsters come and try to steal things from her and eat her. She has a tiny frog who is her protector. The ending has a turn of events. It is a fun story that you can use different voices for and i believe any level of students would like this story.
This is a humorous book that was published in 2008. This book is a take on the princess and the frog, along with aspects of the three little pigs. I would definitely recommend this book, and will use this in my classroom!
Solid non fiction resource for personal and organizational education, great on #audio. We‘ll researched and balanced information on Ageism and how our own concerns about our aging can negatively influence how others see us and how we see ourselves. I had several aha moments while listening and the additional resources she provides add even more value. If you are considering DEI in your workplace or community, this is a great perspective to add.
When this book was delivered yesterday, I had no recollection of ordering it! It seems that I have a worrisome habit of buying things on my phone in the early morning before I rise. And... I have told myself to refrain from adding even more books to the unread books I already own! I will say that it does look like a good read! #doingmybest #bookmail
