Completed the first quarter of #2018Booked reading challenge!
1. Rush for the Gold-Olympic Sport
2. The Fisherman-Author POC
3. Hunger-Body Positive
4. The Women‘s Room-Feminist Classic
5. The Cruelest Month-Cozy Mystery
6. The Night Watch-Unconventional Romance

I enjoyed all 6 of these books. I experienced the pure joy of meeting new friends and reconnecting with old ones through reading. (Who can resist the inhabitants of Three Pines! 😘)

BarbaraTheBibliophage Great job—you‘ve got some good picks there! 👏🏻👏🏻📚📚❤️❤️ 7y
Reviewsbylola Nice job! 🎉🎉 7y

This is my stack for #mounttbrreadathon! The tagged book is the last one to fulfill my #2018Booked first quarter! The two you cannot see are for my postal book groups. (Secret)I also have 4 more to pick up at the library this afternoon. I‘m halfway through Sycamore (bought it in the airport on Wednesday) I had to put it aside to finish up my reading challenges/library books. 😩 Its so good! Can‘t wait to return to it! 😃

Pickpick

A group of mental health professionals has come together to assess their concerns about 45 while balancing the avoidance of diagnosing someone they have not directly encountered and the professional duty to warn. I appreciated the variety of approaches and essays here. I had to take breaks from it, though, to maintain my own sanity.

BarbaraTheBibliophage I have this on my shelf and really want to read it. But I‘ve read a few similar books and need a break first. Glad to see a real-person review—thanks! 7y
RebelReader I‘m with @BarbaraTheBibliophage. I want to read it, but I need a break from 45. My feminist classic for #2018Booked is making me angry at men right now! 😬 7y
Hooked_on_books @BarbaraTheBibliophage @RebelReader I‘m with you both! I keep reading books related to him and his supporters, I think to try to understand what the heck happened/is going on. But I definitely need to space them out! 7y
BarbaraTheBibliophage This is my plan for the next 45-related book. To alternate between these two books: http://litsy.com/p/d1VWU3FMQ09S 7y

1. Bought this cup in Zion National Park on my hiking trip with my oldest daughter. (Please excuse the messy desk.)
2. The Alienist
3. The Women's Room by Marilyn French. I'm only about 50 pages in, but I do sympathize with Mira.
4. Sunny and the high will be 29 degrees today.
5. Two piercings in each ear. I wish now I hadn't done the second holes, but they won't grow closed so I'm stuck with them. 🙁

azulaco The Women‘s Room is amazing. It truly is a feminist classic. I return to it every few years to read it again. 7y
slhbooks Every desk needs a buddha👍 7y
RebelReader @azulaco I'm reading it for the first time for #2018Booked challenge and the prompt is Feminist Classic prompt. 7y

RebelReader @slhbooks I bought her in San Francisco last summer. I love that she looks feminine. 😃 7y
azulaco @RebelReader I thought you might be reading it for #2018Booked. 😉 Good choice. I still have to choose my feminist classic to read this month for Booked. (edited) 7y
Cortg I love the mug! I should check out nat‘l parks for mugs. I‘m trying to acquire an assortment fun mugs. 7y
RebelReader @Cortg I collect mugs so none of mine match. I try to pick them up on my travels. Sometimes I buy then cuz they‘re cute(like the whale one holding my bookmarks in photo- the tail handle was awkward)but I hate drinking out of them so they get repurposed. 🐳☕️ 7y
