Only 5% of my 2024 reading was nonfiction. I need to up my game. I have decided to challenge myself to read at least one nonfiction book per month (preferably one I already own). Anyone want to join me?

TEArificbooks Yes I‘ve been able to do it for a few years now. It is one book a month minimum. If you go to my page you will see the ones I read this year. There are lots of narrative nonfiction out there, makes it seem like you are reading fiction not a textbook. 3mo

TheAromaofBooks Add me to this challenge, please!! And actually, you posting the Dewey categories got me thinking - 11 categories, what if I read a category a month and December is free? Believe it or not, I actually have my jillion NF books sorted by Dewey so it should be easy to do 😂 3mo

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick In 2025, I'd like to read 96 books, with 6 of those being non-fiction, and my monthly country overviews for #foodandlit will not count. 😁 If this year is kind to me and I can carve out more reading time, I may increase both numbers, but I may partially join you. 3mo
