When video games become full immersion, the lines between the real world and virtual reality blur. In the pros you feel every painful death, but wake up in the real world untouched. Most gamers chase the high of the game, indulging in drugs and alchohol, craving the sensations they feel in the game. This book will take you down the dark roads of adddiction and the battle to freedom.

Such a good read! I love VR based science fiction and I love it even more when it goes into the affects it has on the people engrossed with it. This has a focus on substance abuse and losing yourself in the chase of a perfect reality. I can't wait to read the second one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My lunch break read.
I'm a bit peeved today at the amount of time I waste trying to decipher and fix stuff that doesn't fall under my little section of the warehouse. 😒 So a read about VR is what my mind needs right now.
Virtual reality gaming has taken over the sporting world. Gamers are the ultimate celebrity, gods walking among men. But, the world of VGR has some dark secrets and Kali is tired of playing their game. Fantastic sci-fi read 📖 full review on my blog, link in my bio 👩🏼💻📚👩🏼💻 #bloggingforbooks #arena #hollyjennings #VGR #gamer #bookstagram #summerreads #gamergirl #dystopia #sciencefiction
How am I ever supposed to get around to reading all the books I've bought if I keep getting Litsy inspired books from the library? Just picked this one up tonight.
My latest Blogging for Books pick! Hopefully it's a good as it sounds!
I love a good VR game story.
This was one of those books that had such a great premise, but executed poorly. I can't place my finger on what didn't work for me. It's also my second book finished for #boutofbooks
The house I'm renting came with this amazing lounging chair sofa thing that is the best for reading. Not pictured: the fireplace next to it.
The great thing about libraries is that you can get so many books for free but that means when I'm book slumping I end up ordering ALL THE BOOKS and my library card weeps with overuse. I should be glad it's not my credit card weeping.
I've been having trouble focusing on novels so I've been on an ordering spree but I've decided it's time for these to go back unread. They aren't what I want right now but I know where to find them in the future. 😉
This book was pitched to me as Hunger Games meets Ready Player One, so I'm in. Hoping to finish this up so I can review before the release on April 6.
