A really cool look at military history from the perspective of the natural world. Germs and disease and how they can change the course of human history.

Not only do I love this book, I've used it as reference for more than one university paper. Packed with facts but far from boring, it truly transports you to the battleground, and subsequently the hospitals. The chapter notes with references also made it super easy when it came to studying for my papers. Love!!

Yossarian Do you have the unexpurgated version? 8y
Sea.fisher01 I didn't realise the edition I had was expurgated to begin with! 🤔 8y
