Book 3 in Det. Elouise Norton series.
Pretty good story, but tough subject - missing and murdered middle school girls.

Hall is one of my favorite crime writers; Lou Norton is a great character. Here she‘s looking to find the murderer of young girls. I liked the story and the view into Lou‘s life. My only problem with this book is that I figured out the killer very early, and I‘m notoriously bad at that. Lou, as a professional, should‘ve noticed the clues. My daughter and I took my husband for a walk; it‘s the first time he‘s been outside in a month. #audiowalk
I‘m really liking this book and have about two hours left. I think I know who the killer is, but I‘m not sure at all. It could be a red herring. My walk was actually a little chilly. I considered putting on the jacket I‘d brought with me. #audiowalk
Poor Lou; she‘s never going to get some alone time with her new man between a grisly murder and her friends interrupting them just to be sure he is right for her. 😄. I have no idea why that bow is on that bush in the middle bottom picture. #audiowalk
I took a break from Jenny Lawson for a bit to start this 3rd book in the Lou Norton detective series. I hate when it gets dark this early; I have to rush to get in an outside walk. #audiowalk

Eventually I'll get back to writing. Promise
We woke up do a bit of snow today. Our county library is closing all it's branches, which feels appropriate considering. They're waiving late fees. There's still plenty of digital content, but this gives me a chance to read down the books I own & the library stack I already have. 😆
Starting this one today, 3rd book in the Detective Lou Norton series. She's one of my favorite detectives & this is just the kind of escape reading I need right now.
I really like Homicide Det. Elouise Norton. She's smart, strong, and oh so human. Not omnipotent and not perfect but she because of her background (growing up in the projects and has a murdered sister), she brings something different to the genre. The mysteries are gripping but slightly predictable. Still, there is more then enough for me to continue with the series.
