pickThe art is cute and manages to stay lighthearted even when it takes out a pretty main character. It tackles grief and domestic abuse and reveals more of Patsy's crazy backstory, while also developing the friendships and relationships nicely (even though I don't know half the characters I think I should know nor what's going on in the main Marvel plot that's coinciding with this).

Enjoying Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat, but this volume was less fun than the first. It contained parts of several storylines and relied too heavily on Hellcat/Patsy's backstory and the rest of the Marvel Universe's Civil War. Props for the Hamilton references, though-- Disc 2 is too sad for me, too.

pickOh good, so Civil War 2 has all but destroyed Jennifer Walters. Good. Great. I'm glad Patsy is one of the few characters who didn't get involved, but this whole trade was her struggling with the effects of Civil War 2 on Jen. Like. Ugh. And Marvel wonders why its sales are doing so poorly with this dumpster fire of a universe-wide event that has destroyed most of its series. 🙄 shit better get resolved by next issue, that's all I'm saying

so-sofor some reason, I didn't enjoy this collection as much as Vol. 1. the stories seemed kinda random, and the endings were a little abrupt. the positives continue to be Hellcat's diverse friend group, and the art is super colorful and fun (see above 😺). I'll give Vol. 3 a chance! #24in48
next up on my #24in48 agenda! 😺😻 I've got a long way to go, but I'm hoping I can sit down for a big uninterrupted stretch of reading now.
