#Riotgrams #day25 #TrueStories I have always had a weakness for true crime. When I was 11yrs old I snuck out my aunts copy of Helter Skelter,Vincent Bugliosi's book about the Manson murders & his role in the prosecution. Most of this stack are about Aussie crime, the razor gangs of 1930s Sydney, the bodies in the barrels in Snowtown, the butchering of her ex by Katherine Knight & the torture murder of Anita Cobby which happened not far from my home.⚖️
#LyricalApril #day5 #True I love true crime, especially Australian True Crime. This stack has ones about the Snowtown bodies in the barrel murders, the Peter Falconio murder in the NT, the Melbourne gangland war, the Razorhurst saga in the 20s-30s, the Sydney drug wars in the 80s, the murder & butchering done by Katherine Knight & the Anita Cobby kidnapping, torture & murder in 86, which happened not far from where I grew up, plus a few others.
#somethingforsept #septemberphotochallenge #day14 #nonfictionlove I like a wide range of non-fiction so I've included a few favorites from each category. I'm fascinated by hauntings so Graves End & Real Ghosts, true crime is a favourite & Someone Else's Daughter, Dead Centre & Underbelly are Aussie crimes, music biographies so Dream Brother & TheLongHardRoadOutOfHell & disasters so Dead Wake & then I love science so Lab Girl & Gut (not here).
