The second of the Hunter series. I enjoyed this one more than the first. Looking forward to reading Apex to finish the series. A light easy read was just what I needed.

A great second book, which almost never happens in a trilogy.
Joy became an Elite Hunter to escape the constant demands of an Apex Hunter (their entire lives are on screen and viewer Rankings mean more than saving people) but as an Elite she must navigate even more treacherous politics, and avoid exposing her hometown and the people there to the corrupt leaders of the various factions in Apex while protecting her Uncle.

Second book in the series! I recently reviewed the first. One thing I didn‘t say was how great the world building was. There are monsters from all folklores, though slightly changed. All the people act like humans and the MC is shown not being strong all the time (something I wish I saw more) Also, no love triangles, but still a little romance. This isn‘t as much a review of the book but I didn‘t want any spoilers! I would recommend it!

4. I love cozy-ness. I love snow, I'm excited to get in my Christmas decorations that I ordered online, I love blankets and snuggling with hot cocoa. Winter is my favorite

Will I ever read these books that have been on my table forever? Only time can tell.
It's cold and rainy and I can't sleep. So I let my book ADD win and bought this gem that I've been longingly staring at for months. I didn't want to like this series but I really really do! I will say that if you start reading the first book, Hunter, stick with it, even though the beginning drags on a while. It picks up and then you're done and wanting more! #currentlyread
