I wouldn‘t use this in my classroom because it‘s not a topic I would really talk about with kids unless they had a question about it

I thought this was a really well done book. It explained a confusing topic in a child like way and the illustrations were great

Paul‘s lyrical text gently guides readers through the nine months of pregnancy, highlighting the growth and changes that happen both inside the womb and in the outside world. The illustrations by Jason Chin are warm and vibrant, complementing the text with detailed, yet soft depictions of a developing baby and a loving family preparing for their new arrival.

I don't think I would read this to first graders, but I feel like it could be informative during a sex Ed course or teaching about the difference between women and men.

This book discusses how a baby is developed within the woman body. It is very informative while also displaying a family going through the birth story of their child. The illustrations show a clear depiction of the different stages of fetus growth.

This story provides a child friendly representation of what it is like for a mother when she is pregnant. This gives children a visual representation of what they looked like while they were in the womb.

This book was published in 2019 and is a family friendly story that introduces a mother carrying her nine-month baby. She talks about her pregnancy through the story using in depth illustrations of each month the baby is in the womb during those nine-months.

This is a simple, yet effective way to teaching children where babies come from while being scientific, but not too graphic. The words are simple so it is easy for children to follow along with the process of pregnancy. The pictures are simple, and accurate so children can visualize what babies look like through different phases. My favorite quote is, “Light. Bright! Crying and cheer. Loved ones arrive... a baby is here!“

The illustrations are amazing and really capture this family as the mom is going through her pregnancy and the parents are preparing as well as preparing their daughter to become a big sister. Im not sure if you would read this in a classroom but to have it at home to teach children about a new baby coming would be really helpful

Nine months written by Miranda Paul illustrated by jason Chin is a beautiful book about the process of being pregnant, the babies growth, and for young siblings. The illustrations are so detailed and realistic and followed a family (mom, dad and daughter) that are welcoming another baby into their family. The left pages show the growth of the baby in moms stomach each month and what is happening. At the end there is even more detailed information.
