I think that this book is very interesting and has the thriller aspect that I find captivating in the stories that I read. However, I do not think that this is a book that I would use in my classroom or in my classroom library as it is more of a young adult read with some mature language and it is more of a challenging read for children in the grades that I will be teaching.

However, things quickly take a dark turn when she and her detective mother discover a body in an abandoned amusement park. Lucy investigates the town‘s secrets and becomes entangled with Audrey Nelson, another teen connected to the mystery.

The story Is filled with suspense and romance which drives the plot foreward.

This book is a thriller and very captivating, however this book wouldn‘t be one I use in my personal classroom. This book has young adult themes that would not be appropriate for elementary readers. The language is also challenging and too difficult for the grades I prefer to teach.
