Book 7 #wpf25

I loved this, having not expected to, not being a huge fan of ‘Tudor‘ HF. That‘s all down to the MC, Tibb, who is innocent but wise and has the pottiest mouth.

This deceptively simple story covers all sorts of areas - queer love, religion, prejudice, grief and found family.

Definitely on my shortlist!

CharlieBrookReads @Leoslittlebooklife I finished both of these this week. Both so good for very different reasons. I loved the writing style of Amma and I adored the character of Tibb in A Little Trickerie. ❤️❤️ 2w

Leoslittlebooklife @CharlieBrookReads I‘m halfway in Amma, liking it but not loving it. Somehow I keep comparing it to Brotherless Night (my fault) and missing the warm writing of that one. 2w

CharlieBrookReads @Leoslittlebooklife I get that. The author is a screenwriter which I feel like comes across in both a good way and possibly a bad way too in terms of getting that connection. It‘s quite a brief book too. Have you started A Little Trickerie yet? I know you will enjoy that one. 2w

Signor stops itching a moment and snaps, 'Ladies! Would you speak of those things which you understand, and leave the rest to us?'

Maria is puffing out her cheeks and I wonder if she might open her mouth and belch real fire.
