Not as strong as the other volumes (too many descriptions of war plans), but I was glad to learn how the characters came to the end of their journey. I still love the mix of European history and fantasy. Amazing world building.

My book bestie @fabienne.luethi chooses one book for me to read each month. When she chose the second book of the FlameBringer Trilogy for June, someone (speak: me) may has gone overboard and bought the whole trilogy 😅

We are all good in book maths, right? If it's the whole series it's ONE book. 🙌
