The Best Possible Answer by E. Katherine Kottaras is an emotionally charged coming-of age story of a young woman struggling w/ the aftermath of one mistake, while also dealing w/ her father leaving unexpectedly soon after. With the help of her best friend, a summer job, & a boy she once knew, she learns that it is okay to make mistakes & not be perfect all the time. Well-written w/realistic characters. A heart-felt must read.

This is the best YA I've read this year. Hands down. It tackles real anxiety issues, real friendship, and real family problem, all with so much heart.

pickRead this on my kindle with thanks from #netgalley. Out November 1. Great coming-of-age romance novel, with a loyal and witty friendship. Main character, Viviana's family, though is entirely dysfunctional. Wow her father! What a piece of work! Really absorbing story.
