Schopenhauer done with Nietzsche
I deeply enjoyed this read. Nietzsche's exploring path through history and philosophy, covers a lot here for more I've meant to read, which would also be greatly introduced in this summary graphica series! I'm saving this as a guide to re-reading 'Beyond Good & Evil', for a later TBR date.
One of my favourite images and quotes in this graphica, "Man would sooner have the void for his purpose, than be void of purpose.." a great line to turn things upwards, from the interest of deep ponders. Let there be nothing down the stairs, but a purposeful book, to mind and life activities!
1. The Sims 3, as I keep wishing to stay in my PJs, designing similar geometric leggings on Xbox.. I'm often up past my bedtime.
2. Earlier last weekend, at a summer music festival were I bought said PJs 😄 the local vendor is 'She Loves Leggs'.
3. Dairy. Milk and teas. 🍶
4. Introducing Nietzsche 🤔 for the Sim who writes non-fictions as a lifetime wish?
5. Never have. 😯

I'm starting on Introducing Nietzsche, as a graphic novel quick-read, picked up at a thrift shop. I first read Beyond Good & Evil in 2013, but only seem to recall some parts. Trying again with the Intro is a best plan. ⛰ This makes a BuddyRead with a devoted Nietzsche friend of mine, for thoughts to share. 😸 A strong 'will to power' for me seeks the best assertive quotes to go by.
Biked to a lake and found this cute, secluded area. Started & finished the entire book. The pictures helped ?. It's engaging and factual. It assumes no prior knowledge of the field, so the first couple of pages might be annoying to some. It touches the surface of many topics, and dives into them just deeply enough for us non-experts. Its heteronormativity should've at least been acknowledged though, instead of portrayed as the "default".
